Brahim’s Supports Food Aid Foundation in Kelantan Flood Relief Efforts
Since 29 November, Food Aid Foundation has been actively providing food relief to communities affected by the recent floods in Kelantan. The relief efforts were further strengthened on 12 December when Brahim’s contributions of ready-to-eat meals, pastes, and mineral water bolstered our ability to respond quickly and effectively.
As part of our hot meal preparations, Brahim’s pastes, including Asam Pedas, Masak Merah, and Rendang, played a significant role in enabling us to efficiently cook meals for hundreds of people at a time. Their high-quality, ready-to-use pastes, alongside contributions from other sponsors, ensured we could meet the urgent needs of flood victims during this critical time.
To date, we have prepared and distributed:
Over 4,250 hot food packs using a combination of sponsored pastes and fresh ingredients.
More than 1,500 food bags, which included Brahim’s ready-to-eat meals such as Bubur Lambuk, Mi Goreng Ayam, Nasi Goreng Ayam, Sardine, Bubur Ayam, Nasi Goreng Pedas, and Brahim’s Mineral Water.
These efforts have reached affected communities across Kota Bharu, Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Bachok, Pengkalan Chepa, and particularly Kuala Krai, where the need has been most acute, providing families with nutritious and comforting meals amidst the challenges they face.
“Brahim’s products have been incredibly convenient during this relief effort, especially their ready-to-use pastes, which allowed us to prepare large quantities of meals in a short time without compromising on flavor. Their contribution, alongside the support of other sponsors, has been instrumental in ensuring we could respond swiftly and effectively to the needs of flood victims,” said Afraz Said, General Manager of Food Aid Foundation.
“The Kelantan Flood Relief initiative exemplifies the impact of partnerships in disaster response, showcasing how organizations can come together to make a tangible difference in times of crisis”, said Dato’ Seri Ibrahim Hj Ahmad, Executive Chairman of Brahim’s Dewina Group.
