Brahim’s Dewina Group Hari Raya Celebration & Launching of #BrahimsCares

In conjunction with Brahim’s Dewina Group of Companies Hari Raya celebration, the company announced the launch of  #BrahimsCares, a CSR program of Brahim’s Dewina Group of Companies to help aid in food contributions to the needy especially in cases of catastrophe, flood victims, and students food bank. During this initial stage, #BrahimsCares food bank has been rolled out to two public universities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Putra Malaysia. Our #BrahimsCares food bank initiative is to help in providing food aid to university students who lack the financial capability, especially from poor families. A total of 4000 meal packets of food allocation comprising of 1000 packets of Brahim’s MRE (meals-ready-to-eat) Light Meal Rice and 1000 packets of MRE dishes will be allocated to 100 students from each university for a period of 10 weeks approximately one semester. The universities have been given the freedom to decide how best to effectively execute the food allocation to their respective students. In conjunction with the occasion, 75 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Islam Peribadi Mulia Kajang and 16 children from Rumah Kanak-Kanak Angels Kuala Lumpur were present to join the Hari Raya feast and ‘Duit Raya’. The event was held at Bangi Convention Center on 29 July 2019.
