Chefs Faizal Rosli Abdullah and A Rahman Mokthar from Brahim’s SATS prepared delectable dishes using Brahim’s black pouch premier simmer sauces for a food review by NST writer Zuliantie Dzul on 9 August 2017.
The five flavours of Brahim’s black pouch premier simmer sauces are the award-winning Thai chilli and basil sauce, the best-seller Indonesian rendang sauce, Malaysian nyonya sauce, Thai green curry sauce, and Thai masaman curry sauce.
The 5 dishes prepared were:
1. Brahim’s Thai Green Curry Smoke Duck Breast
2. Brahim’s Malaysian Nyonya Sauce Salmon Fillet
3. Brahim’s Indonesian Rendang Beef
4. Brahim’s Thai Massaman Chicken
5. Thai Chilli and Basil Sauce Prawn
Comments from the writer were: “The dishes were certainly delicious. Two thumbs up for the tender beef rendang and the flavourful chilli and basil tiger prawns. The rendang was simply exquisite, sweet and not too spicy, while the chilli and basil sauce coated the prawns beautifully without rendering it too “gravy-heavy”.
